Nice to have in the drawer to break out for a little light impact play, or for teasing with the feather end.
The rod/paddle combination has enough resistance for a bit of sting, if you're looking for an introduction to impact play, but probably not enough for those who are more experienced.
It's nice to be able to alternate between the two ends, giving a real contrast of two extremes, especially if blindfolded.
